These tables contains data collected on 6501 children under 5 years of age during a baseline survey in west Uganda prior to implementation of the inSCALE c-RCT in the site. Data were collected between May and August 2011. Data include household socio-economic data, child characteristics, illness in the previous two weeks, care seeking, costs of care seeking and treatments received. Two data tables have been created: 1. Master table with 1 child per row (6501 rows) 2. A 'long' table with 1 illness condition per row (if child had more than one illness defined, one row is created for each illness) (5057 - only sick children included hence lower total)
